Why did we start the 1:1 Internet Marketing Program?
At Spotlight Marketing and Design, we realized there
are a lot of small business owners, like you, that would like to
know the fundamentals of Internet Marketing and how they can apply
those to their business, rather than keep paying someone else to
do it for them. For whatever reason, the bottom line is, you simply
want to learn!
We want to teach you! We want to show you how to market
your business. Internet Marketing covers all aspects of your appearance
online and driving customers to you. Some examples are your website,
advertisements, directory listings, webcopy, search engine optimization,
networking and your overall design.
What topics do we cover?
The topics are endless. If it is about Marketing and
Design, we can cover it. Mentoring programs are individualized based
on YOUR NEEDS. If you have design and website desgin skills, but
need more marketing and SEO knowledge, then that is what we will
teach you. We can teach you onsite and offsite SEO, online and offline
marketing and more. Simply stated, if it falls under the "Marketing
Canopy," we can teach it. Most importantly, YOU CAN LEARN IT!
How does the program work?
The 1:1 Internet Marketing Program can take as long
as 2 hours to 2 months. It depends on how much you want to learn
and how quickly you grasp the concepts. Some will excel and speed
through the program, others will need more time. As stated, this
is a very individualized program catering to YOUR NEEDS.
You get 2 hours of 1:1 time with me each week. One hour
to explain the process, time for you to complete your homework and
then one hour to go over your homework and get ready for the next
step in the program.
What does a typical One Month Package include?
What The Package Entails:
8 hours of one on one coaching and *unlimited e-mail support.
These sessions include: Finding the message and color
scheme that appeals to your target audience. Developing a design
concept (a bad design will lose a customer). Planning out the use
of keywords and SEO (how to research and select unique keywords
and phrases, where to use SEO in your design, etc.). Setting up
a functional and user-friendly navigation and ultimately a website.
What you will learn:
- How to develop a clean, user-friendly design that stands out.
- Simple SEO tricks every web designer should know.
- How to research for the best keywords and write search-worthy webcopy.
- How to use an FTP program to quickly upload your work.
- What Virtual Includes (aka Server Side Includes) are and why they are significant.
- Internet Marketing Strategies that will make you shine.
Requirements:
You must have a copy of Front Page or Dreamweaver for a web editor.
You must be willing to complete homework assignments in between
mentoring sessions. You must have a desire to learn and grow.
